Greetings. We watched a documentary called food inc last night. Its all about how much do we know about the food that we eat, how few companies control most of the food industry and just how much power these guys have in focusing far more on company profits than our health. it was pretty scary stuff, it focused lots on factory meat farming and how horrible some sides of it are, very informative, heavy going though. loads of information for people who want to make more conscious food choices. if you have seen it let us know what you thought. You have all been wating here for the arrival of the first of the local organic mixed leaves! Well here they are in the flesh – lovely tender local baby organic leaves of deliciousness! Sexify your life with local organic leaves!! The first of the lovely local organic leaves are back in the streets and available in the HP. Great for any type of salad. The leaves are made up of rocket, baby spinach, mizuna, red mustard leaves, beet leaves and other exciting exotic asian leaves too. Enjoy!
DanceWave is an alternative club night designed to get your legs shaking without a hefty dose of drinks or drugs. DanceWave is launching on this Auspicious Day when no bars open. The Wave is about 2 hours long. Its a dancing experience designed to make you feel great, with the added buzz that a plain auld knees up brings.
Doors open at 8pm, the Wave starts at 8.30pm and goes until 11pm with tunes either side. There will also be food from the Happy Pear if the hunger badger starts poking around as your belly dances.
