Week Three
Digestion, Intestines and Bowel Problems:
A lovely subject, one of my favourite areas, the bowels!!! So moving things along here while soothing the digestive tract. I have added some fibrous bulking agents here to act as a cleaning from the inside these seeds will release unwanted matter hanging onto the sides of your intestines and bring it with it on its passage out of the body.
1 Lemon and Warm Water
Brilliant for getting the bowels going first thing. As it is warm water it passes straight trough the stomach to your bowel where the pectin in the lemon juice helps clear out your bowel.
2 Easy and Soothing- cucumber, fennel, apple, lemon, mint
No seeds or bulking agents here, fennel is renowned for digestion and for soothing intestinal complaints along with mint and cucumber these will all help sooth someone with irritable bowel syndrome
2 Sweet and Seedy – apple, carrot, fennel, 2 teaspoon flax/linseeds, 2 teaspoons pumpkin seeds, ginger
Seeds to move things along and ginger to add a bit of clout!
